 Both our boys see Dr. Copenhaver and love him. The staff is great also. We go to his and Dr Gelfand's "VENT CLINIC" at Our Children's House at Baylor in Dallas. LOVE IT! We spend most of the day at the clinic, but everyone is there at once: Physician, Nutritionist, we do blood work, and X-Rays, go over all nursing, therapy, supplies, equipment, medicine and get orders for anything we need. Great setup!

Dr. Andrew Gelfand

 Our boys see Dr Gelfand also. He and Dr Copenhaver are partners, so we equally see them, and both are great! Same thing; we go to Our Children's house at Baylor "Vent Clinic" in which Dr Gelfand is the Medical Director. Again, the staff is awesome and come highly recommended!

 Dr. Seikaly is a Nephrologist but also works with bone disorders. Carter sees him at Dallas Children's Hospital but he also has a bone clinic at Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.

Dr. Lanman sees all 3 of our boys and is absolutely fantastic! She's friendly, affectionate, takes her time with the kids, and has shown great passion for what she does. It doesn't matter if it's Cullen who needs your average pediatric care or Landon & Carter, whom have severe, rare special needs....she's on 
                                         top of everything they need.

Nursing

Epic Medstaff

Epic is both of our boys nursing company. They are highly recommended by us and have been very good to our family from staffing, visiting them on extended hospital stays, taking care of any issues we have, very professional, kind, and couteous. You can ALWAYS get in touch with someone even if after hours, someone will have the on-call phone. Marco is fantastic as well, if you have any problems. They are a great company in general, and we would recommend them to anyone for nursing and they provide pediatric therapy services. We are in the Dallas area, but they may service other areas!

Hospitals

Children's Medical Center - Legacy Campus

This is a Children's Hospital. A smaller, newer branch of Dallas's campus. Since they are newer, if it were something they are not equipped to handle, they will transport you downtown to the Dallas campus.

Children's Medical Center - Dallas Campus

This is a great Children's Hospital, however they lack in knowledge of SMA and the real protocols for SMA. It's a very nice hospital, and they are pretty much equipped for most anything.
