I could not put this down until I read it to the last word. As you know we have also been down the road of a medical fragile child but two have two I don't know how we would manage. It has also brought my husband and I closer together and our marriage is actually better for it. We understand the bad days and know that whilst 'words' hurt they are sometimes just that, 'words' out of frustration. People often as if we wonder 'why us' and I simply say 'why not'. It's hard at first to come to terms with a child that may not make it from month to month (or even day to day sometimes) but I would never be without him.

Thank you for sharing and continue to wish your family all the best.

This morning I was sitting at our neighborhood auto center for an oil change, and was a little frustrated when the tech came out & told me I needed a brake flush & an engine flush (something not in our budget) nor in our plan for this morning. On the table next to me was a newspaper and your family's picture caught my attention. I can't tell you how inspiring your story is to me. I have two healthy girls & although I thank the lord for my blessings, there are days that go by when I take their health for granted. Thank you for sharing your story & reminding me that EVERY day should be cherished, not to let the small unexpected things in my life get me down. Your positive outlook has touched me & I am forever changed by your story. Your family will be in my prayers. God Bless !!
