SLINGS free our kids arms and/or legs from gravity to allow them easier movement to do the things they love like playing with toys, ipads, painting, drawing, etc!

These are great toys for even your type 1 SMA child. They are FUN learning tools for your children, that are touch screen, and very EASY touch screens! Definitely a great toy purchase for SMA! Carter has all 3 and LOVES them.

Adapted toys are usually easier for our children to play with. There's tons of websites to get adapted items from but you can start off with buttons or joysticks, etc. Most of these can attach to most battery operated toys, allowing them to learn cause & effect by tapping the button and feeling the joy of activating a toy all by themselves!! (Amazon sells some also)
